DRAFT/DESIGN

Our design team will work with you to help make your concept a reality. From an initial design of your project we will consult with industry professionals on architectural, structural, civil, hydraulic, mechanical and electrical engineering. This process allows us to identify any possible concerns and to develop a design brief.

PREPARATION OF BUDGET

TENDERING/PRICING

For finalisation of the tender pricing a detailed scope of works is completed on each trade component. This allows for staging of the project and establishing a construction methodology. We have access to our key subcontractors and suppliers who pride themselves on delivering to the McDonald Construction and Development Standard. We will liaise with these preferred suppliers and subcontracts to ensure that the best price is received and offer solutions to possible savings. We will ensure that the final price provided delivers on not only budget but also quality.

DETAILED DESIGN

Once we are able to provide you with a tender price on your project we then commence the detailed design. The detailed design encompasses all facets of structural, architectural, civil and hydraulic planning. We manage the construction drawings design process and specifications of the project.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Management of your project includes procurement planning and utilisation. Development planning management, Town planning and permit process management, Building permit process management, site meetings with stakeholders. Our team are seasoned project managers that have developed strong relationships with external parties, this cohesive relationship assists in keeping your project moving forward to meet key milestone dates. Interrelationship between tasks such as client approval, local authority liaising and possible material delays are continually monitored.

Licenses & Certification

We are a fully licensed and insured commercial builder. We have a high level of expertise and present a full understanding of local and industry experience. As part of our project management and quality control all subcontractors engaged must have relative licences and ability to meet building certifications. Subcontractors and suppliers are assessed based on their performance and capabilities. All resources engaged must meet project quality standards, this standard of quality is continually assessed and measured.

SAFETY

The safety of our people is paramount and is our core objective in management of the project. Our comprehensive Safety system ensure the safety of our employees, subcontractors and project stakeholders including clients and the community. A unique project specific safety plan and procedures are established. Safety hazards are managed in relation to tasks and minimisation of risks. Toolbox talks and site specific inductions are completed. Safety management is continually monitored and evaluated throughout the project life.
